Rustam Punja is the Alternative Fuels Manager with Heidelberg Materials who has spent more than 14 years in the cement industry advancing circular economy solutions through the beneficial reuse of waste materials. Based in Western Canada, he works with municipalities, industry partners, and suppliers to source and commercialize alternative fuels and raw materials, including RDF, plastics, and construction waste, supporting Heidelberg Materials’ Edmonton cement plant and its decarbonization goals.
